Job summary

The Royal Women’s Hospital in Parkville is seeking an Automation Engineer to join the Strategic Automation & Digital Experience team. You will design, develop and support end-to-end automation and digital solutions that improve how staff work.

You will build solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse), UiPath and Azure, integrate enterprise apps and APIs, and help deploy across development to production environments.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, testing and supporting automation and digital solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate, Power Apps and Dataverse.
• Experience managing Power Platform solutions across development, test and production environments.
• Experience integrating technology solutions with applications, APIs, databases and other platforms.
• Understanding of Microsoft Azure and its application to automation and digital solutions.
• Experience with UiPath or other RPA technologies will be highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices, testing, deployment, version control and technical documentation.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting production automation or digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy end-to-end automation and digital solutions.
• Build innovative solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio and Dataverse.
• Develop and maintain integrations across enterprise applications, APIs, databases and other technology platforms.
• Contribute to the development and support of UiPath automations and workflows.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of automation solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services, including cloud, integration, and AI capabilities.
• Explore emerging AI and automation technologies, including Azure AI Foundry.
• Troubleshoot and optimise production solutions, ensuring they remain reliable and effective.
• Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and translate their needs into practical technology solutions.
