Job summary

Planit is seeking an Automation Engineer (E1) to join our 900+ testing experts across the country. You will apply your coding skills and knowledge of modern cloud infrastructure to deliver high-quality testing solutions for top-tier clients.

You will work independently on tasks, contribute to frameworks, and support flexible delivery including client sites, remote and office-based work. A passion for quality and continuous learning is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in functional testing across lifecycle phases.
• Ability to plan, design and execute tests with strong defect management.
• Familiarity with agile ceremonies and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver testing and quality solutions within agreed timeframes and standards.
• Apply knowledge of testing practices across multiple disciplines.
• Follow Planit and client standards for testing and delivery.
• Collect and report metrics and escalate issues as needed.
• Work with test management, automation and CI/CD tools and suggest improvements.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to testing frameworks.
