Job summary

TAFE NSW is seeking a Technical Assistant – Autobody Refinishing/Paint and Panel to work at Campbelltown Campus. This permanent full-time, part-year role requires 35 hours per week across 44 weeks per year, with flexibility for roster variations.

You will prepare materials and equipment for educational delivery, care for tools and equipment, and assist teaching staff with practical training and assessments, while ensuring WHS compliance.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing and 3–4 years industry experience.
• Demonstrated ability to service, clean, repair and safely operate workshop machinery.
• Demonstrated application of practical, administration and computer skills to support supply, stores, maintenance, warehouse related duties and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and equipment for educational delivery.
• Maintain tools, equipment and facilities in the teaching section.
• Support teaching staff in practical training and assessment activities.
