Core Talent is seeking a Mobile Automotive Electrician to join a client specializing in high-spec utility vehicle bodies. The role is full-time in Sydney and Goulburn with relocation support up to $7,000.

The successful candidate will perform 12V/24V installations, wiring, and diagnostics across light commercial vehicles, in a 100% mobile capacity, traveling between sites and client locations to deliver top-tier workmanship.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on auto electrical experience and vehicle integrations.
• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or current study.
• Full valid Driver's Licence and knowledge of light commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Complete full electrical fit-outs and 12V/24V installations on ute canopies and light vehicles.
• Perform fault finding, testing, and system commissioning to high quality standards.
• Travel to project sites, including overnight/interstate trips.
• Follow Lean principles and maintain an organised, high-standard workspace.
• Support quality control with documentation and process improvements.
• Adhere to WHS procedures and vehicle specifications.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mobile Automotive Electricians to join a company specialising in the manufacture and fit-out of high-spec utility vehicle bodies and service canopies. Full-time roles based in Sydney and Goulburn with a $7,000 relocation package available!

This role involves carrying out high-quality 12V/24V auto electrical installations, accessory integrations, and technical diagnostics across light commercial vehicles. Positioned in a 100% mobile capacity, you will travel between major operational sites and client field locations, delivering top-tier workmanship on custom commercial fleet builds.

What's on Offer?

• Base Rate: $43.00 – $48.00 per hour + Superannuation
• Extra +$5.00/hr on top of your base rate when actively travelling/on the road
• Daily Allowance: $100.00 per day travel and living allowance for away-from-home travel
• Relocation Support: Up to $7,000 relocation package available for eligible candidates
• Permanent, long-term employment
• Full-time hours (40 hours per week) + Overtime opportunites
• Standard Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:45pm (45 mins daily breaks)

Key Responsibilities

• Complete full electrical fit-outs, wiring, and 12V/24V accessory installations on custom ute canopies and light commercial vehicles
• Perform fault finding, testing, and system commissioning to ensure strict compliance and quality standards
• Travel across project sites (including overnight and interstate trips as operational needs dictate) to execute on-site work
• Adhere to Lean manufacturing principles, maintaining an organised, high-standard workspace
• Assist quality control teams by documenting variations and contributing ideas for process improvement
• Strictly follow Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) procedures and vehicle technical specifications

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualification: Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (or currently studying towards completion)
• Experience: 2+ years of hands‑on experience in auto electrical tasks, accessory installations, and vehicle integrations
• Licence: Full valid Driver's Licence
• Knowledge of light commercial vehicle specifications and dual-battery/auxiliary systems is highly regarded
