Qualifications

• Qualified Auto Electricians with technology experience or a strong desire to learn.
• Experience in programming, networking, data analysis, and vehicle technology installation is highly regarded.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills; mining experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot technology systems across mining equipment and infrastructure.
• Work with asset management systems, autonomous equipment and mining tech infrastructure.
• Develop skills in programming, networking and data analysis as part of role growth.

GB Auto Orange is seeking qualified Auto Electricians with technology experience, or someone with a strong desire to learn and grow within the mining technology sector.

This role will focus on the installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of technology systems across mining equipment and infrastructure, including:

• Asset Management Systems
• Autonomous Equipment
• Fatigue Management Systems
• Proximity Detection & Collision Avoidance Systems
• Mining technology infrastructure including tracking and underground cave management systems

Experience in the following will be highly regarded:

• Programming and software configuration
• Networking and communications systems
• Data analysis and troubleshooting
• Vehicle technology installation and commissioning
• Mining equipment maintenance and support

What we're looking for:

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Mining experience advantageous but not essential
