BHP is seeking Auto Electricians for Olympic Dam to support mobile fleet maintenance. The role involves Auto-Electrical maintenance on surface and underground equipment within a 7:7 roster, with FIFO from Adelaide or DIDO options.

You will work safely, perform planned and unplanned maintenance, and help keep critical mining equipment running. Applicants should hold Australian Auto-Electrical trade qualifications, have heavy machinery experience, and be prepared to work in a dynamic mining

Formación

• Australian recognised Auto-Electrical trade qualification with experience in heavy machinery.
• Underground mining experience is highly regarded but not essential.
• Rigger, Dogger, Crane, FL and Bridge & Gantry tickets are advantageous.
• Solid time management and ability to prioritise.
• Proactive team player who can work effectively unsupervised and communicate across levels.

Responsabilidades

• Promote and follow safety standards to work safely and effectively.
• Assist with planned maintenance and complete tasks promptly.
• Provide Auto-Electrical trade skills for unplanned or breakdown maintenance.
• Maintain mobile equipment in surface/underground workshop or infield as part of the breakdown team.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain accountability and build productive relationships.
• Provide feedback to Shift Maintenance Supervisors on job progress.

About The Role

We are currently seeking applications for talented Auto Electricians for positions within our Mobile Fleet surface workshop

The role will involve being an active team member, providing Auto-Electrical Maintenance support to the Mobile Fleet Maintenance work team. You will adhere to operating requirements and strive for the safe achievement of individual, team and site objectives.

In This Role You Will

• Promote and consistently follow the standards and procedures designed to enable you to work safely and effectively every day
• Assist with any planned maintenance and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Provide Auto-Electrical trade skills to perform unplanned or breakdown maintenance
• Maintain mobile equipment in our surface/underground workshop/s or infield as part of our breakdown team
• Work with your team to a high level of accountability and be able to build productive team relationships
• Provide Feedback to the Shift Maintenance Supervisors on job progress

About You

• Proven commitment to look after your own wellbeing and the confidence to speak up when others put themselves in harm’s way.
• Australian recognised Auto-Electrical trade qualifications (or a closely related field) with experience in heavy machinery
• Underground mining experience highly regarded (not essential)
• Rigger, Dogger, Crane, FL and Bridge & Gantry tickets, also advantageous
• Solid time management skills and ability to prioritise
• A proactive team player who is also self-motivated and able to work effectively unsupervised
• Ability to communicate well across multiple levels and disciplines
