We currently have a vacancy for an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician, within our Mine End Surface Maintenance department.
The Challenge ahead
As an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician, you’ll play an important role in keeping our Surface and Underground operations running safely and reliably.
Working within a mining environment, you’ll carry out planned and unplanned electrical and instrumentation maintenance across fixed plant equipment. Your technical expertise and problem‑solving skills will help improve equipment performance, availability and reliability, supporting both day‑to‑day production and the future growth of our Surface operations.
You’ll also be trained in the BHP Operating System (BOS) and have the opportunity to contribute to standardised ways of working across the operation.
Safety is central to how we work. You’ll be part of a team where looking after yourself and others, speaking up and consistently following safe work practices are fundamental to every shift.
