Job summary

Rio Tinto is seeking qualified Auto Electricians to join our Pilbara operations to perform planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance across our heavy mobile equipment. The role offers a long‑term career with an 8 days on / 6 days off roster, including 7 nights on, 7 nights off roster from Perth.

Qualifications

• Must hold Australian Auto Electrical Trade Qualification and Australian C Class manual licence.
• Experience with heavy mobile equipment is essential.
• Diagnostic and fault‑finding ability is required to service and repair assets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of safety and comply with Rio Tinto policies.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and planned maintenance.
• Assist continuous improvement projects to increase safety and reduce risk and cost.
