WesTrac is seeking Auto Electricians to join the Rebuilds Workshop team in Tomago, NSW. You will diagnose faults, overhaul systems and contribute to builds on CAT heavy mobile plant, ensuring safe, high-quality outcomes as part of a dedicated team.

The role offers exposure to modern equipment, long-term stability, and roster options with a focus on safety and collaborative work in a busy workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrotechnology (or equivalent) is required.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills are essential.
• Experience with heavy equipment maintenance is highly regarded.
• Safety-focused mindset and ability to work in a workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and overhaul auto electrical systems on CAT heavy equipment.
• Lead build and rebuild activities to high quality standards.
• Install and commission electrical components on mining equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical faults across CAT OHTs, Dozers, Graders and Drills.
• Maintain safety, quality and workshop housekeeping standards.
