Job summary

South32 Group Operations Pty. Ltd. in Western Australia seeks a Technician Maintenance Auto Electrical L1 to service mobile mining equipment at the Boddington Bauxite Mine.

This permanent role runs a 42-hour week with day/night rosters, reporting to the Supervisor Maintenance, and requires daily drive-in, drive-out attendance from within an hour of Boddington. You will perform auto electrical maintenance, record history in SAP, and contribute to reliability through fault finding and improvement

Qualifications

• Completed Automotive Electrical Apprenticeship with relevant trade certification.
• Proficient in English, written and spoken.
• Experience with heavy mobile equipment maintenance, mining or industrial environments.
• Familiarity with CAT SIS and CAT ET systems; licences including forklift, EWP, dogging, rigging, crane and working at height.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and corrective maintenance on mobile mining equipment.
• Record accurate maintenance history in SAP for asset management.
• Contribute to reliability improvements through fault finding and root cause analysis.
• Support continuous improvement by reviewing work practices and maintaining high maintenance standards.
