Job summary

Tennis Australia Limited is seeking a highly organised Photo Desk professional to coordinate briefs and manage end-to-end image delivery during the Australian Open and Summer of Tennis. You will work with the Photography Manager and editors to ensure timely, captioned imagery that meets operational, marketing, and media needs.

Applicants should have 3–5 years in a sports photo desk environment, strong editorial skills, and excellent stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years on a photo desk within sport, agency or news.
• Strong knowledge of photography workflows and asset management systems.
• Experience managing and delivering photography briefs.
• Excellent editorial skills, especially captioning.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management.
• High attention to detail and strong administrative capability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage photography briefs from stakeholders.
• Support delivery of captioned and keyworded imagery with the Photography Manager.
• Coordinate photographers and editors for event-wide coverage.
• Assist with image categorisation, archiving and DAM processes.
• Caption and keyword images for Tennis Australia’s archive.
• Manage image uploads and workflows in CMS.
• Adapt to changing priorities during tournament period.
• Identify content themes and storytelling opportunities.
