Job summary

Diageo Australia is seeking a Market Category Manager – Supply (Australia) to shape and deliver our logistics procurement strategy. You will drive value, resilience and supplier performance across the supply network, collaborating with APAC and MOVE to translate regional category strategies into market impact.

In this influential role, you will partner with the Australia Supply Leadership Team to simplify ways of working, unlock supplier value and advance Diageo’s growth and sustainability

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Procurement, Category Management or strategic sourcing in FMCG or supply-led environment.
• Proven ability to develop category strategies, sourcing initiatives and supplier performance programs.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen to understand cost drivers and opportunities.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing contracts, risks and performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management with ability to influence senior leaders across regions and functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of the Australia Logistics category strategy with APAC Supply Procurement, MOVE and key stakeholders.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and suppliers as a trusted procurement partner.
• Drive sourcing, negotiation, contract management and supplier performance to deliver value and productivity outcomes.
• Lead supplier governance and performance reviews to improve service, resilience, and total cost.
• Partner with Supply Leadership to identify priorities and simplify ways of working.
• Drive sustainability and responsible sourcing initiatives aligned with Society 2030 ambitions.
• Support governance, guidelines and capability building within the procurement team.
