Frog Recruitment partners with an established accounting and advisory firm in Brisbane CBD to recruit an Audit Manager for external audits. The role offers ownership of client engagements, leadership of a team, and close work with Partners invested in career development.

You will engage with a diverse client portfolio across mining, technology, financial services, property, education and healthcare, with mentoring, flexible work, and a pathway toward partnership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Australian external audit experience within public practice.
• CA/CPA qualification or equivalent.
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and Australian Auditing Standards (ASA).
• Experience managing audit engagements and supervising or mentoring junior staff.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and client relationship skills.

Responsabilités

• Managing a portfolio of external audit engagements, ensuring delivery to Australian Auditing Standards, deadlines and budgets.
• Leading, coaching and mentoring audit staff throughout engagements.
• Overseeing audit planning, scheduling, file preparation and reviews.
• Building strong relationships with clients, including senior management and key stakeholders.
• Providing technical guidance and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
• Identifying opportunities to strengthen existing client relationships and support business development.
• Contributing to the continued growth and development of the Assurance division.
• The role may involve travel to client sites, including occasional overnight stays.

We're partnering with an established accounting and advisory firm seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its growing Brisbane team.

About the role

Reporting directly to the Audit Partners, you'll take responsibility for managing audit engagements, developing your team and maintaining strong client relationships.

Your key responsibilities will include:

About you

Ideally, you'll bring:

• At least 5 years of Australian external audit experience within public practice
• CA/CPA qualification or equivalent
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and Australian Auditing Standards (ASA)
• Experience managing audit engagements and supervising or mentoring junior staff
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and client relationship skills
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
• A collaborative approach and genuine interest in developing others
