Qualifications

• Business or Commerce degree with Accounting major.
• Approximately 6–12 months of audit experience.
• Completed CA studies or commenced CA studies (or equivalent).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, and a desire to build a long-term career in professional services.

Responsibilities

• As an Audit Assistant, work closely with experienced audit professionals.
• Gain hands-on experience across a broad range of engagements.
• Apply audit skills within the RSM audit methodology.
• Prepare and complete audit workpapers, documenting testing and findings.
• Assist with audit planning and fieldwork activities.
• Develop knowledge of Accounting and Auditing Standards.
• Use leading audit technology and electronic audit tools.
• Assist in preparing reports and documentation for clients and management.
• Support senior team members with engagements and client requirements.
• Maintain training records and timesheets.
