Job summary

RB Global, Inc. is seeking a Yard Coordinator to assist with inspection, cleaning, and preparation of incoming vehicles at the branch facility. You will manage vehicle check-in, digital imaging, and ensure readiness for weekly and biweekly auctions.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts safely, recovering keys and plates, and supporting visitors with guidance. The role requires adaptability to indoor/outdoor work, strong teamwork, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 year related Experience.
• Experience in the equipment rental or construction industry and/or related field preferred.
• Previous forklift operating experience is a plus.
• Must be willing to learn how to operate a forklift.
• Capable of interacting effectively and supportively with customers & towers.
• Capable of performing and/or assisting with light maintenance of vehicles.
• Must be able to perform activities that involve stooping, bending, standing, and walking for reasonable periods of time.
• General mechanical knowledge of makes and models of vehicles required.
• Ability to function well as part of a team.
• Work both indoors and outdoors year-round, and climb on and off large equipment and trucks

Responsibilities

• Vehicle check-in by recording and filing information on incoming vehicles being assigned to the facility.
• Detail vehicles to improve appearance for auction value.
• Operate passenger vehicles safely for moving around the facility and at drive-through auctions.
• Numbering, preparation and setup for weekly/biweekly auction.
• Recover keys, license plates, and other information from vehicles and store securely.
• Assist visitors by providing guidance and directing to the right contact.
• Perform basic forklift/loader operation.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Follow safety and environmental rules to ensure a safe environment for customers and employees.
• Remain alert to hazards with heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs; willing to learn forklift operation where needed.
• Capable of interacting with customers & towers in a supportive manner.
• Flexible to perform other tasks as assigned.
