Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–3 years related experience.
• Experience in equipment rental or construction preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Basic automotive repair skills.
• Proficiency with handheld PDA.
• Willing to learn forklift operation.
• Able to interact effectively with customers & towers.
• Capable of light vehicle maintenance.
• Able to stand, bend, stoop, walk for reasonable periods.

Responsibilities

• Check-in vehicles by recording and filing information.
• Thoroughly detail clean vehicles to improve auction value.
• Move vehicles safely around facility; assist in drive-through auctions.
• Prepare and set up for weekly/biweekly auctions; number vehicles.
• Recover keys, plates, and related items; store properly.
• Assist visitors with directions and information.
• Perform basic forklift/loader operation.
• Follow company safety, environmental, and policy rules.
• Remain alert to hazards around heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals.
