Job summary

The Tasmanian Department of Health is seeking an Alcohol and Other Drugs Clinical Lead to join Alcohol and Drug Services North (ADS North). This permanent full-time role provides clinical leadership across a multidisciplinary team delivering ATOD services in line with best practice and policy.

You will support the Team Leader, oversee key clinical processes from intake to case management, and contribute to quality and safety improvements while mentoring staff within the ADS North service.

Qualifications

• Coordination/leadership role within a multidisciplinary ATOD service setting with supervision.
• Knowledge of contemporary evidence‑based practice for alcohol and other drugs.
• Ability to contribute to quality and safety processes at service level.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical leadership and management of ADS North to ensure high‑quality ATOD services.
• Support Team Leader with line and performance management of staff and processes.
