Job summary

Talent is seeking an Associate Systems Analyst to translate business needs into technical requirements and support improvements to applications and systems. Based in Melbourne (with locations including Canberra, Brisbane or Adelaide) you will gather requirements, prepare functional specifications and work with business users, developers and testers in an Agile environment to deliver system changes.

Candidates must be able to obtain Baseline clearance; on-site for the first six weeks with hybrid

Qualifications

• Experience gathering, prioritising and managing requirements.
• Experience contributing to software or component design, including functional and non-functional requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience working collaboratively in an Agile environment.
• Exposure to feasibility assessments or user experience evaluation would be beneficial.
• Government experience is highly desirable

Job description

Location: Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane or Adelaide

Contract: Up to 12 months, with extension options up to a further 24 months

Working arrangements: Onsite for the first six weeks, with hybrid arrangements considered afterwards

Security: Must be able to obtain a Baseline clearance
