Job summary

Beca is seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to join our Sydney team, contributing to structural design for power infrastructure, including substations and renewable energy assets. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, both in the office and on-site, delivering innovative, sustainable solutions and gaining exposure to major energy projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Solid understanding of structural design principles for power infrastructure.
• Experience in professional services or consulting environment.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural design for power projects (substations, transmission line structures, foundations, switchyards, renewables).
• Contribute to design, documentation, and construction phase support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in engineering and project delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and support project development.
