Job summary

Beca in Melbourne is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate Earthing Engineer to lead earthing, bonding and lightning protection design across power, renewables and infrastructure projects. You will translate feasibility into detailed design and support commissioning while mentoring junior engineers.

You will conduct modelling, site investigations and technical assessments, build trusted client relationships and contribute to a culture of technical excellence within the Power business.

Qualifications

• Earthing and bonding design for substations, transmission networks or major infrastructure projects.
• Earthing system modelling and testing methodologies.
• Lightning protection design and EMC assessments.
• Experience with Australian and international standards and good client engagement.
• Effective communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver earthing and bonding designs across the full project lifecycle from concept to commissioning.
• Undertake earthing modelling, site investigations and technical assessments.
• Build strong client relationships and provide specialist advice to project teams.
