Job summary

Hooker & Heijden in Brisbane is seeking an Associate and a Senior Associate to join its plaintiff personal injury practice. The roles involve handling a mixed file of motor vehicle accident claims and general PI matters through to resolution, with direct client engagement from the first consultation.

As a Senior Associate, you will work closely with the principals and supervise junior lawyers, contributing to a supportive team environment while managing cases with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice in Queensland.
• Associate: 2+ years PQE in plaintiff personal injury.
• Senior Associate: 5+ years PQE in plaintiff personal injury, and able to run a file with minimal supervision.
• Solid experience under Queensland personal injury legislation.
• Good with clients, and comfortable with people who are going through a difficult time.
