Reece is seeking an Associate Security Engineer to join the Cyber Defence team. You will monitor security alerts, assist in incident response and help build automation to improve efficiency across AWS, Azure and Reece’s platforms.

This role suits someone early in information security with hands-on IT operations, cloud or software engineering experience and a drive to grow. Salary banding is competitive with market norms in Australia.

Qualifications

• Exposure to cyber security concepts and tools such as SIEM, SOAR, endpoint protection and cloud security.
• Ability to investigate, document findings and escalate where needed.
• Willingness to learn and grow through practice, labs or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage and respond to security alerts across endpoints, identity, email, cloud and network.
• Assist investigations, containment and recovery during incidents.
• Help improve detection rules, dashboards, runbooks and automation.
• Respond to phishing and user security requests, assisting end users.
