Koste is expanding its Melbourne capability and seeks an Associate Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in commercial assets and tax depreciation. This senior, client-facing role focuses on delivering tax depreciation schedules, asset classifications, and asset registers, while collaborating with accountants and property advisers.

You will participate in inspections across Melbourne and Victoria, review costing and CAPEX, and contribute to market-leading advisory services in asset

Qualifications

• Significant Quantity Surveying experience.
• Demonstrated tax depreciation or capital allowances experience.
• Demonstrated commercial asset experience.
• Experience identifying and classifying plant and building assets.
• Commercial property knowledge.
• Strong report writing and client-facing experience.

Responsabilités

• Manage commercial asset and tax assignments.
• Undertake inspections across Melbourne and Victoria.
• Prepare and review tax depreciation schedules.
• Review Division 40 and Division 43 treatment.
• Prepare asset registers.
• Review construction costs, fitouts and CAPEX.
• Work directly with accountants, property owners and advisers.
• Review junior QS work and resolve technical enquires.
• Support proposals and professional relationships.
• Help grow Koste's Melbourne technical capability.
