Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Brisbane seeks an experienced Associate Mechanical Engineer to lead medium to large-scale building services projects across defence, commercial, health and transport sectors. You will own design delivery from concept to construction, providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 10–12+ years of experience in mechanical building services engineering.
• Strong technical capability across HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Deep understanding of Australian Standards, NCC and authority requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design and delivery of medium to large-scale building services projects
• Take ownership of project outcomes from concept through to construction
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across the team
• Manage project scope, programme and budget, ensuring successful delivery outcomes
• Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams, architects and external stakeholders
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building long-term relationships and repeat work
• Review designs and documentation to ensure technical quality, compliance and constructability
