Job summary

WSP in Australia is seeking an Electrical Senior Associate in Brisbane to lead the design and delivery of major building services projects. You will drive electrical solutions, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor engineers while growing client relationships.

You will manage multiple projects across infrastructure, health, education and data centres, aligning with Australian standards and project objectives. This role offers growth within a global network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 7–10+ years of industry experience in Australian building services projects.
• Experience delivering multiple concurrent projects across varied scales.
• Strong client relationship management and project management skills.
• Demonstrated capability in electrical building services design.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and Codes (AS/NZS 3000, NCC).
• Ability to lead, mentor, and support development of other engineers.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design and technical delivery of complex building services projects.
• Deliver solutions across electrical power systems, lighting, communications and security.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently across sectors, scales and delivery stages.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, authorities and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with architects, other engineering disciplines and project teams.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentoring to engineers and juniors.
• Manage project outcomes with quality, programme and commercial considerations.
• Contribute to proposals, tenders and business development activities.
• Support growth and development of the Brisbane Building Services team.
• Ensure solutions comply with Australian Standards, Codes and industry requirements.
