Norton Rose Fulbright in Melbourne is seeking an Associate to join the Environment & Planning practice. You will work with market-leading Partners on environmental and climate law matters spanning public and private sectors, including transactional, advisory and litigation work.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of environmental issues and a strong career development pathway within a globally integrated firm.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years PQE gained within a reputable Environment & Planning practice.
• Strong time management & organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong commercial drafting skills.
• Strong academic achievements.

Our Environment & Planning practice is recognised as one of theleading teams in Australia and demand on our services has createdan opportunity for an Associate to join the Melbourne team workingprimarily with market leading Partners Elisade Wit and JacquelinePlant.

With a stronger focus on the Environment side of the practice,this is an opportunity to get involved in some really interestinglitigious and non-litigious environmental and climate law matters,working across both the public and private sectors. You will beengaged in a mix of transaction, advice and litigation work in theareas of Climate Change, Carbon, major project approvals,environmental licensing and compliance, Victorian Civil andAdministrative Tribunal Court proceedings, contaminated land andwaste management, water law, risk management and incidentresponse.

To be considered for this role you must have;
