Job summary

Veritas Recruitment is seeking an experienced Payroll Leader to take control of a large, complex payroll operation. You will oversee payroll for 10,000+ employees across multiple sites, with a focus on governance, compliance and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the CFO, you will lead a skilled payroll team, drive automation, build stakeholder partnerships and shape the function for a regional organisation in Victoria. This is a strategic, high-impact leadership role with significant scope.

Job description

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Payroll Leader to take the reins of a large, complex payroll operation and make a genuine impact.

Managing payroll for 10,000+ employees across multiple sites, awards and employment conditions, this is a role for someone who enjoys complexity and is passionate about people, payroll, governance and continuous improvement.

The Role

About You

We're looking for an experienced Payroll Leader who has previously managed a large payroll and led teams within a complex environment.

You may be a current Payroll Manager, Payroll Operations Manager or Team Leader, or someone successfully operating in an Acting leadership role and ready for the next step.

You’ll bring:
