Job summary

Veritas Recruitment is seeking a skilled Management Accountant for a key temporary assignment in Melbourne, Australia. The role covers month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and detailed financial analysis to support business decisions.

You will interact with management and non-finance stakeholders, producing timely reports and KPI dashboards while covering an extended leave period. Immediate availability is required for a 4–6 week assignment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar commercial accounting role.
• Strong month-end, reporting, reconciliation and financial analysis skills.
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends and explain financial drivers clearly
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work with operational and sales teams
• Experience with SAP or large ERP systems
• A proactive approach to process improvement and data integrity
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to tight deadlines
