Job summary

The Clean Energy Finance Corporation in Australia is seeking an Associate, Consumer Finance to support the Household Energy Upgrades Fund, delivering affordable finance for rooftop solar, batteries, efficient hot water systems and EV chargers.

You will analyse transactions, prepare investment papers, build dashboards in Power BI, and work directly with clients across live deals while developing data-driven insights for the Debt Markets team.

Qualifications

Two to four years’ experience in securitisation, structured finance or asset-backed lending – gained in a non-bank lender, bank, trust manager or advisory environment.
Understanding of warehouse and term structures, credit support, collateral performance and the mechanics behind a consumer loan book.
Strong financial analysis and modelling skills with attention to detail for approval papers and due diligence.
Hands-on Power BI experience building dashboards/reports or ability to pick it up quickly.

Responsibilities

Undertake financial analysis, modelling and due diligence to support consumer finance and HEUF transactions.
Prepare investment approval papers and supporting material for the Executive Investment Committee, Board and other committees.
Support deal structuring, documentation and ongoing transaction management across the Debt Markets platform.
Build and maintain monthly data dashboards and new transaction analytics in Power BI.
Explain data trends in technology adoption, lending criteria and portfolio performance so they translate into commercial insights.
Work directly with clients and counterparties across live transactions.
Contribute across the broader Debt Markets platform, including securitisation, structured finance, corporate finance, asset-backed lending, investment mandate agreements and bond investments.
