Job summary

Smart Communications in Australia is seeking an Associate Consultant to join a fast-moving team. You'll start with training on the Conversation Cloud platform and work on diverse projects for clients across APAC.

You’ll travel up to 50%, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and grow into Consultant, Senior Consultant, or Principal Consultant as you develop skills and take on increasing responsibility.

Qualifications

• Must be an Australian citizen.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum project delivery.
• Awareness of the Solution Delivery Life Cycle.
• Theoretical knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
• Good understanding of cloud architectures.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services (Postman).
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML5, CSS).
• Experience with data and markup formats: XML, JSON.
• Exposure to Salesforce.com (APEX) and enterprise software (CCM/CRM).
• Awareness of AI-assisted development tools (Claude).

Responsibilities

• Implement Smart Communications solutions (SaaS/Cloud and Hybrid).
• Advise clients on best practices for implementation and configuration.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project success.
• Support and maintain project plans from PMs/Principal Consultants.
• Report on progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Meet delivery schedules and budgets.
• Manage project change controls and contractual positions.
• Interface professionally with clients.
• Willing to travel up to 50% (APAC).
