Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited is recruiting an Associate Buyer to support services procurement across national categories. The role focuses on supplier onboarding, RFQ/RFP activity, and maintaining procurement systems with strong stakeholder collaboration.

The position is office-based with hybrid flexibility, offering exposure to strategic sourcing, category management, and career development within a global organisation.

Qualifications

• Min 2-3 years in procurement with junior buying or sourcing experience.
• Exposure to a formal or mature purchasing environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and commercial awareness.
• Understanding of pricing models and macro-economics.
• Operations knowledge or experience in logistics or support services an advantage.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and build strong supplier relationships.

Through Foodbuy, our procurement business partners with suppliers and clients to create value, drive efficiencies and deliver exceptional service outcomes. The Associate Buyer role supports sourcing, supplier management and procurement operations across multiple categories nationally.

Join our high-performing procurement team and play a key role in the non-food services category, supporting the sourcing and management of suppliers across a broad range of service categories.

Job Responsibilities
