Job summary

Allens is seeking a Banking & Finance Associate to join the Perth-based team. You will advise clients on financing arrangements, participate in structuring, and work closely with Partners across offices in a hybrid model (60% in office, 40% from home).

The role offers exposure to diverse transactions and the firm’s international alliance with Linklaters. You will gain experience across project and corporate finance, with opportunities to mentor others and develop a broad foundation in finance

Your role

You'll be a part of our Banking & Finance team based in Perth and work with lawyers and partners across all of our offices. Working closely with our Partners and the wider team, you will gain exposure to the most complex and interesting transactions in the market. At Allens, our structure means you'll get exposure to a number of different Partners within your practice group and a wide variety of work. We encourage our lawyers to find their niche and specialise in areas they're interested in, while building a strong foundation across their field. As a Banking & Finance Associate you will advise clients on financing arrangements relating to: The structure and documentation for their project Acquisition and leverage Property General corporate financing. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. At Allens we have a hybrid working structure, typically 60% in the office and 40% from home. We would be happy to discuss any other flexible working arrangements that best support you.

About you

You will have:

• Experience in a Banking & Finance team within a large law firm, locally or internationally (we are also open to a combination of private practice and in-house experience).
• Exposure to project and corporate finance transactions; resources sector experience is particularly beneficial.
• A desire to learn, grow, network, mentor others.
