Job summary

Everyday Wealth is seeking an Associate Adviser to join our Brookvale office on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. You’ll work with advisers on strategy development, financial modelling and advice preparation, with a clear pathway toward becoming a Financial Adviser.

Ideal candidates have practical Australian financial planning experience and hands-on involvement in SOAs/ROAs. We offer mentoring, flexible arrangements, and a structured progression as you take on more client responsibility.

Qualifications

• You’ll need practical experience within an Australian financial planning practice with hands-on involvement in strategy research.
• Experience in financial modelling and advice preparation.
• Xplan experience highly regarded; relevant qualifications completed or underway.

Responsibilities

• Support strategy development and client meetings with advisers.

Associate Adviser | Pathway to Financial Adviser

Build on your experience with hands‑on strategy work, client exposure and a clear pathway into advice.

You might be an Associate Adviser looking for more responsibility, a clearer career pathway or a role closer to home. Or you might be a Paraplanner ready to build your client experience and progress towards becoming a Financial Adviser.

At Everyday Wealth, we’re looking for someone with practical financial planning experience who wants to take that next step.

Based in Brookvale on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, you’ll work closely with our advisers across strategy development, financial modelling, advice preparation and client meetings.

The opportunity

You’ll contribute across the advice process, helping clients with superannuation, investments, wealth creation, retirement planning, personal insurance and debt strategies.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Researching strategies and comparing product options.




• Preparing financial modelling and analysing different scenarios.




• Preparing Records of Advice and contributing to Statements of Advice.




• Preparing for and attending client meetings, strategy discussions and reviews.




• Working with our support team to coordinate advice implementation.




• Communicating with clients, accountants, solicitors, lenders, insurers and product providers.




• Keeping client records accurate and progressing work through to completion.




• Taking on greater client responsibility as your skills and confidence develop.

You’ll have direct access to our advisers, opportunities to discuss your work and support to develop your technical and client skills.

About you

You’ll need practical experience within an Australian financial planning practice, including hands‑on involvement in strategy research, financial modelling and advice preparation.

Your current title matters less than the work you’ve done. You could be an Associate Adviser, Paraplanner or working in a similar role.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Understands the advice process from research through to implementation.




• Has experience preparing or contributing to SOAs and ROAs.




• Can explain their research and modelling clearly.




• Is organised, follows through and pays attention to detail.




• Communicates well with clients and colleagues.




• Wants to progress towards becoming a Financial Adviser.

Xplan experience is highly regarded, along with relevant financial planning qualifications completed or underway.

You don’t need to know everything on day one, but you do need an existing foundation in advice preparation.
