Job summary

Textron Aviation is seeking an Associate Parts & Distribution Specialist to join our Jandakot Service Centre in Perth. The role involves receipt, storage, ordering and issuance of aircraft parts to support maintenance activities.

You will coordinate repair orders with external facilities to ensure timely support for in-house aircraft maintenance operations, and you will work with parts catalogs to read and interpret requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and knowledge of aircraft parts.
• 2+ years of aircraft parts experience required.
• Ability to read illustrated parts catalogs and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Receives and logs in all aircraft parts and kits from Citation Parts Distribution.
• Issues parts to shop floor and assists mechanics with parts requirements.
• Handles outside orders and prepares parts for shipment; reads catalogs and distinguishes warranty vs. exchange.
• Follows up on back order summary; coordinates with Citation Parts Distribution.
• Assists in inventories and issues purchase orders for parts room supplies.
• Assists in rebilling customers for repairs, freight, etc.
• Administers Citation consignment and exchange programs.
• Performs other related duties as required.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking an Associate Parts & Distribution Specialist to join our Jandakot Service Centre in Perth. This role is responsible for the receipt, storage, ordering, and issuance of aircraft parts in support of maintenance activities, as well as coordinating repair orders with external repair facilities to ensure timely support for in-house aircraft maintenance operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receives and logs in all aircraft parts and kits from Citation Parts Distribution.
• Issues parts and kits to shop floor, assisting mechanics with parts requirements.
• Handles outside orders from customers and prepares parts for shipment. Requires ability to read parts catalogs and knowledge of warranty versus exchange situation.
• Follows up on back order summary, coordinating with Citation Parts Distribution.
• Assists in routine and special inventories and issues purchase orders for supplies for parts room, such as boxes and other shipping material.
• Assists in rebilling customers for repairs, freight, etc.
• Administers all Citation consignment and exchange programs.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

• Requires high school education or equivalent plus general knowledge of aircraft parts
• Minimum of 2 years aircraft parts experience required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to read, understand and analyze illustrated parts catalogs
• Ability to interoperate overhaul manuals and aircraft engine manuals
