Job summary

Levande North Lakes is seeking an Assistant Village Manager to help run the North Lakes village, balancing resident needs with operational and financial responsibilities. You will work closely with the Village Manager to foster a welcoming community and coordinate events and services.

You will bring a strong customer service orientation, relationship skills and a practical, organised approach to busy village life. Experience in retirement living or service-focused environments is valuable.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service focus and ability to engage residents and families on an ongoing basis.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with a diverse group of people including residents, families, teams and stakeholders.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised and able to prioritise multiple tasks in a live village environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Village Manager with day-to-day village operations in North Lakes.
• Assist with administration, budgets and financial reporting.
• Build relationships with residents, committees, families and contractors.
• Coordinate village events, community activities and local sales/marketing initiatives.
• Support and guide village team members and step in when needed.
• Contribute to safety, compliance and continuous improvement across the village.

What You Will Be Working On

No two days in village life are quite the same. You will support the Village Manager with the day-to-day running of North Lakes, balancing resident needs with the operational, administrative and financial requirements of the village.

Your work will include:

• Supporting a positive and responsive experience for residents and their families.
• Assisting with day-to-day village operations, administration, budgets and financial reporting.
• Building effective relationships with residents, resident committees, team members, families, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Supporting village events, community activities and local sales and marketing initiatives.
• Helping coordinate contractors, maintenance activities and unit turnover.
• Providing guidance and support to the village team and stepping up when the Village Manager is away.
• Contributing to safety, compliance, risk management and continuous improvement across the village.

Experience in retirement living, property, facilities, asset management, hospitality or another service-focused environment would be valuable.

Experience supporting or leading a team would also be beneficial.
