Levande is seeking an Assistant Village Manager at Macarthur Gardens in Campbelltown, NSW. You’ll work with the Village Manager to support daily operations and deliver a positive resident experience, helping residents feel connected, supported and at home.

You’ll develop skills across resident engagement, village operations and financial management, build trusted relationships, and coordinate contractors while staying onsite to ensure a well-run village.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering strong customer service and building effective relationships.
• A practical understanding of budgets, expenditure and everyday business operations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
• The ability to work onsite at Macarthur Gardens to support residents and daily village operations.
• Retirement living or property management experience is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Help residents resolve concerns and support daily village operations.
• Review expenditure with the Village Manager and coordinate contractors.

What You Will Be Working On

Your day could include helping a resident resolve a concern, reviewing expenditure with the Village Manager or coordinating contractors to keep shared spaces safe and welcoming.

You’ll Focus On

• Building trusted relationships with residents, families and resident committees, responding to feedback and helping resolve concerns.
• Supporting daily operations, village administration, contractor services and the smooth coordination of resident arrivals and departures.
• Assisting with budgets, expenditure tracking and maintenance planning to support a well-managed village.
• Helping coordinate community activities and working with Sales & Marketing on local initiatives.
• Supporting the team, including providing guidance and feedback when the Village Manager is away.
• Supporting safe work practices, regulatory compliance, sustainability initiatives and improvements to the way the village operates.
