Job summary

EVT’s QT Perth venue is seeking a Rooftop at QT Assistant Venue Manager who delivers first‑class service with passion, style and flair. You’ll work with the Venue Manager to lead a team of about 15 staff, oversee daily operations, guest experiences, and strong financial performance in a premium hospitality setting.

You’ll bring prior Assistant Venue Manager or Senior Supervisor experience, solid mixology knowledge, and a proven track record in team development, budgets, and licensing compliance.

• Premium hospitality experience required; previous Assistant Venue Manager or Senior Supervisor.
• Strong mixology knowledge desirable.
• Proven leadership and people development skills.
• Financial acumen with budgeting, labour costs, and COGS.
• Knowledge of liquor licensing and RSA compliance.
• Passion for creating memorable guest experiences.

• Manage daily Rooftop at QT operations with service excellence and compliance.

• Assist Venue Manager with recruitment, training, rostering, and performance.
• Deliver strong financial outcomes by managing wages, COGS, and stock; drive revenue.
• Upsell and ensure guest experiences are consistently exceptional.
• Oversee liquor licensing compliance, cash handling, POS reporting.
• Curate bar menus, stock management, and supplier contracts with the F&B Director.
• Hands‑on leadership across outlets from setup to pack‑down.

About the Role

As Rooftop at QT Assistant Venue Manager, you’ll deliver first‑class customer service with passion, style, and flair – all in line with EVT standards and policies. Working closely with the Venue Manager, you’ll lead and inspire a team, ensuring smooth daily operations, outstanding guest experiences, and strong financial performance. This is a hands‑on leadership role overseeing service delivery, team development, and compliance, while supporting innovation and activations to drive revenue and elevate our guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily Rooftop at QT operations, ensuring service excellence and compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements.
• Lead, develop, and motivate a team of around 15 staff
• Support the Venue Manager in recruitment, training, rostering, and performance management.
• Deliver strong financial outcomes by managing wages, COGS, and stock control while maximizing revenue and profit through analysis, innovation, and events.
• Champion customer service standards, ensuring all team members are inducted, trained, and supported to deliver consistent and memorable guest experiences.
• Oversee liquor licensing compliance, cash handling, POS reporting, and variance investigations.
• Curate and maintain bar menus, stock management, and supplier contracts in collaboration with F&B Director.
• Act as a hands‑on leader across outlets, taking ownership of service delivery from set‑up to pack‑down.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as an Assistant Venue Manager, or Senior Supervisor role within a premium hospitality environment.
• Strong mixology knowledge is highly desirable
• Demonstrated skills in team leadership, training, and people development.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labour costs, and COGS.
• Excellent knowledge of liquor licensing, RSA compliance, and hospitality regulations.
• A passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences with a proactive and motivated approach.
