Job summary

EVT Group’s QT Perth brand is seeking a Rooftop at QT Assistant Venue Manager to deliver first‑class guest experiences, lead a team of ~15 staff, and drive smooth daily operations with strong financial performance.

You will work closely with the Venue Manager, oversee service delivery from set‑up to pack‑down, ensure health and licensing compliance, and train and develop your team to elevate the guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a hospitality team in premium venues.
• Strong knowledge of liquor laws, RSA compliance, and licensing.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, wages, and COGS within a venue.
• Customer‑centric mindset with focus on memorable guest experiences.

• Act as hands‑on leader across outlets from set‑up to pack‑down.

About the Role

As Rooftop at QT Assistant Venue Manager, you’ll deliver first-class customer service with passion, style, and flair - all in line with EVT standards and policies. Working closely with the Venue Manager, you’ll lead and inspire a team, ensuring smooth daily operations, outstanding guest experiences, and strong financial performance. This is a hands‑on leadership role overseeing service delivery, team development, and compliance, while supporting innovation and activations to drive revenue and elevate our guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily Rooftop at QT operations, ensuring service excellence and compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements.
• Lead, develop, and motivate a team of around 15 staff
• Support the Venue Manager in recruitment, training, rostering, and performance management.
• Deliver strong financial outcomes by managing wages, COGS, and stock control while maximizing revenue and profit through analysis, innovation, and events.
• Champion customer service standards, ensuring all team members are inducted, trained, and supported to deliver consistent and memorable guest experiences.
• Oversee liquor licensing compliance, cash handling, POS reporting, and variance investigations.
• Curate and maintain bar menus, stock management, and supplier contracts in collaboration with F&B Director.
• Act as a hands‑on leader across outlets, taking ownership of service delivery from set‑up to pack‑down.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as an Assistant Venue Manager, or Senior Supervisor role within a premium hospitality environment.
• Strong mixology knowledge is highly desirable
• Demonstrated skills in team leadership, training, and people development.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labour costs, and COGS.
• Excellent knowledge of liquor licensing, RSA compliance, and hospitality regulations.
• A passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences with a proactive and motivated approach.
