Job summary

Birdcage Hotel in Mount Isa is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily operations across bar and restaurant, lead a hospitality team, and help deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Working with the Venue Manager, you will drive service standards, manage stock and scheduling, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and foster a positive, high-performing culture in a busy, family-friendly venue.

Qualifications

• A proven leader with previous experience in hospitality management.
• Current QLD RSA, RSG, RMLV, Approved Managers License & CLO.
• A positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, close-knit team environment.
• A passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle problems on the spot.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• A solid understanding of hospitality regulations, financial management, and best practices.
