Job summary

OPSM – Robina on the Gold Coast is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead the store team, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and drive sales through coaching and product knowledge. No optical experience is required as comprehensive training is provided.

You will be responsible for coaching staff, managing store operations, and ensuring a high standard of customer service while supporting brand promotions and visual merchandising.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory/leadership experience in retail.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Confident giving constructive feedback.
• Committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Support, coach, and motivate your team to meet and exceed store targets.
• Coach and train to drive continuous improvement.
• Act as Store Manager when required, including opening and closing.
• Deliver memorable customer service and strong product knowledge.
• Implement brand visual merchandising and promotional changes.
• Create a safe working environment for your team and customers.
