Hype DC Charlestown is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a high-energy, sneaker-forward store in Charlestown Square. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to develop a strong team, deliver memorable customer experiences and achieve commercial goals in a dynamic retail environment.

You will drive daily operations, coaching and mentoring a large team, while embodying the Hype DC brand and culture. This role offers growth opportunities within a premium sneaker retailer.

Qualifications

• Retail Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Inspirational coach who can motivate, develop and level up a large team.
• Genuine passion for sneakers, streetwear, culture and the Hype DC brand.
• Thinks strategically and can identify missed opportunities to drive sales and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Create a WORLD CLASS team and a MAGICAL VIBE within your store.
• Support leadership of a multimillion-dollar business and drive financial sales goals and KPIs.
• Bring the Hype DC brand vision and strategy to life every day.
• Put our customer at the centre of every decision and deliver MEMORABLE experiences 100% of the time.
• Create a people-first culture by empowering, coaching and developing your team.
• Deliver regular coaching, support and feedback to drive performance and results.
• Support recruitment, selection and onboarding of new team members.
• Deliver a seamless omni-channel experience through the preparation and fulfilment of online orders.
• Ensure your store is best in class through Visual Merchandising excellence.
• Maintain an environment that is fun, energetic and safe for both customers and team members.
• Work closely with Store Manager and Area Manager to accelerate business growth.
