Job summary

STRAND is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help drive store performance and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will work closely with the Store Manager, lead from the floor, coach your team, and steer commercial results while cultivating a positive culture that supports growth.

You’ll focus on coaching, supervising, and motivating staff, managing rosters, and ensuring loss prevention and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous retail leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong coaching and team development abilities.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach the team to be confident STRAND product experts.
• Drive sales and KPIs; lead on the floor when needed.
• Maintain high store standards across all touchpoints.
• Support stock control, inventory accuracy and loss prevention.
• Assist with rostering and scheduling as required.
• Know the numbers and drive commercial results.
• Promote safe, compliant work practices.

As an Assistant Store Manager at STRAND, you’ll help drive store performance and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Working closely with your Store Manager, you’ll lead from the floor, coach and inspire your team, and achieve commercial goals while creating a positive culture where your team feels valued and motivated to grow.
