Petstock Maroochydore is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a passionate team and delivering world-class customer service as part of the Petstock Group.

About the Role

Take on the role of Assistant Store Manager at Petstock Maroochydore and support the Store Manager in leading a passionate team to deliver the world-class customer service we’re known for, playing a key role in the success of the Petstock Group.

• Lead your Petstock Day
• Lead by example, mentoring and inspiring your team daily
• Support your Store Manager in coaching the team to achieve and develop their knowledge and skills
• Lead from the front by consistently providing an exceptional customer experience
• Create strong safety mindset, committed to fostering a culture of safety within your team
• Support your Store Manager to manage stock effectively, ensuring accuracy and that the team follows stock integrity processes
• Assist in managing visual merchandising (VM) of stock displays, ensuring VM standards are consistently maintained
• Demonstrate initiative by actively keeping your knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services
• Recruit, onboard, and induct high-calibre new team members
• Create a fun, supportive in-store culture where your team loves coming to work every day
• Proactively support local marketing opportunities and sponsorships

Requirements

• Experience in a similar store leadership role
• Demonstrated drive to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and build a high-performing teams whilst fostering a positive culture
