Job summary

Swatch Bondi Junction is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead our Bondi store, bringing energy, passion and brand knowledge to life daily. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to coach the team, deliver exceptional service and drive sales performance in a fast‑paced premium retail environment.

You’ll champion customer experience, oversee recruitment and training, and ensure stock, visuals and compliance reflect the bold Swatch brand.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as Assistant Store Manager, supervisor or retail leader.
• Strong sales skills with ability to motivate teams.
• Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
• Organised with strong problem-solving and time management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the store team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Partner with Store Manager to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Recruit, onboard and develop team members.
• Analyse sales data to identify opportunities and improve performance.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and store operations.
• Support reporting, admin and inventory processes.

The Opportunity

As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving the success of your store. Working closely with the Store Manager, you’ll lead from the front, inspire your team and help create unforgettable customer experiences that reflect the creativity, energy and individuality of the Swatch brand. You’ll be a role model for exceptional service, product knowledge and sales performance, helping your team reach their potential while ensuring the store operates at its very best.

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in an Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor or retail leadership role
• Strong sales skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve targets
• Strong coaching and people development skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organisation, time management and problem-solving skills
• Computer literacy, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Enthusiasm, self-motivation and confidence to lead by example
