Job summary

Bob Jane T-Marts – Shellharbour Village NSW is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead a high-performing retail automotive team. This role involves supporting the Franchisee in all managerial tasks and stepping in when needed to manage the store.

The successful candidate will motivate staff, drive sales to meet budgets and KPIs, and handle tyre, wheel, battery and alignment services with focus on customer guidance and efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Retail automotive environment experience preferred.
• Experience in tyres industry encouraged.
• Willingness to learn and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist Franchisee in all managerial tasks and step in to manage the store when not in attendance.
• Motivate the team and drive sales to meet budgets and KPIs in tyre, wheels, batteries and alignment services.
• Inspect customer vehicles and advise on needs, provide quotes, and work with foreman to manage workflow.
• Ensure banking, enforcement of company policies, and OHS laws and procedures are followed.

Your Mission:

Are you ready to take the wheel and help steer a high-performing team to new heights? Bob Jane T-Marts at Shellharbour are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to help lead their team.

This is a great opportunity for those with retail management experience or for those in the tyre industry to take the next step in their careers and move into Management.

Role includes, assisting the Franchisee in all managerial tasks and to step in and manage the store when the Franchisee is not in attendance. The ability to motivate the team, drive sales in meeting budgets & KPI’s, selling tyres wheels batteries and alignments, inspecting customers vehicles advising them of what they need providing quotes, work with the foreman to manage work flow, banking, enforcement of company policies, OHS laws and procedures. Marlin experience highly regarded.
