Job summary

SARAH & SEBASTIAN, a conceptual fine jewellery studio, invites you to join as Assistant Store Manager in our Brisbane store. You will lead a small team, drive sales, and mentor staff while upholding luxury service and sustainability commitments.

Join a brand known for architectural stores, innovative services like Ear Alchemy, and a culture of excellence. Australian work authorization required; Sunday–Thursday roster applies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management in premium or luxury retail.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Proven ability to drive sales and build client relationships.
• Experience managing 2-3-person teams and Sunday-to-Thursday rosters.

Responsibilities

• Create a client-centric culture by developing and maintaining client relationships.
• Opportunity to manage, grow and develop your own store with Store Manager support.
• Assist in creating a positive, motivating environment through effective communication and people management.
• Ensure the team is up-to-date on SARAH & SEBASTIAN information, product knowledge, policies, procedures, and training.
• Manage client service initiatives such as SOLDERED & EAR ALCHEMY.
• Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring visual displays and team behavior meet brand guidelines.

We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Store Manager to inspire our team and co-steer operations at our architectural designed Brisbane store.

In this role, you’ll combine commercial acumen with luxury service to drive store performance, mentor a high-achieving team, and champion our commitment to sustainability and philanthropic initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Create a client-centric culture by personally developing and maintaining client relationships.
• Opportunity to manage, grow and develop your own store with the support of the Store Manager.
• Assist in creating a positive, motivating environment through effective communication & exceptional people management.
• Ensure the team is always prepared and updated on SARAH & SEBASTIAN information, product knowledge, policies and procedure and roll out training where necessary.
• Opportunity to manage and run a client service - SOLDERED & EAR ALCHEMY.
• Act as a brand ambassador at all times, ensuring that the SARAH & SEBASTIAN visual displays & team behaviour is in accordance with company guidelines and brand ethos.

WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU

• Minimum 2+ years of Management experience in ideally a premium or luxury retail is required.
• Ability to drive sales, a genuine love for building relationships & organisational skills that are second to none.
• Reliability, exceptional attention to detail, a natural leader who influences & inspires others around them.
• Proven track record of people management & team building
• Experience managing teams of 2-3 people is essential.
• Ability to work a Sunday to Thursday roster.
• Australian work authorisation is required at time of application.
