Skechers Australia & New Zealand is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Cairns store. You will work with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations, coach a team, and drive store success in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role focuses on leading by example, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and contributing to wage cost management and rostering. Previous leadership in retail is valued, with opportunities for career growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior sales assistant, full-time, or leadership support role (e.g., Key Holder, Supervisor, 3IC, ASM).
• A proactive attitude and strong desire to grow leadership skills.
• Passion for team development and delivering great customer experiences.
• Ability to drive sales and meet performance targets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations alongside the Store Manager.
• Inspire and coach the team to achieve KPIs and sales targets.
• Assist with visual merchandising, stock management, and store presentation.

Your Role

Support the Store Manager in leading daily operations and achieving sales targets and KPIs.

Inspire and guide the team to deliver exceptional customer service and performance.

Assist with visual merchandising, stock management, and store presentation.

Help manage wage costs and contribute to effective rostering.

Mentor and coach team members to support their growth and development.
