Job summary

Camp Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a childcare professional for its Whitfield service in Cairns, QLD. You will design engaging daily activities for primary-aged children, maintain a safe and compliant program, and prepare healthy snacks while fostering strong relationships with families and the local school community.

The role requires enthusiasm, a childcare-related Diploma or progress toward it, and current Blue Card and safety certificates.

Qualifications

• Engaging, enthusiastic approach to childcare and strong relationship-building skills.
• Completed or 50% working towards a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program.
• Plan exciting daily activities for primary-aged children.
• Prepare and serve healthy snacks.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.
