Job summary

Currie & Brown is a world-leading provider of cost management, project management, and advisory services. The Sydney team seeks a details-driven professional with a degree in a relevant discipline and 2–4 years’ experience to assist in client management, project delivery and financial controls.

You will help maintain client relationships, support business development, and ensure timely progress claims while adhering to company processes and IMS standards.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline (M&E/Civil Engineering, Architecture or Project Management).
• 2-4 years working experience.
• Computer literate, particularly MS Word, Excel and MS Project.
• Understanding of construction methodology, trades and elements.
• Positive, can-do attitude.
• Passionate about Project Management and eager to work in a leading consultancy.
• Understanding of current industry trends and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring understanding of their deadlines and requirements.
• Demonstrate cost consciousness and understanding of project P&L.
• Ensure project cash flows and order books are up to date; manage consultant fees, tracking and payments.
• Issue monthly progress claims and support cash collection.
• Work under supervision, learn, and complete basic requests within time and quality parameters.
• Support project work using company processes and adhere to IMS requirements.
