Job summary

Currie & Brown in Sydney is seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience in Education or Refurbishment construction to join our team. You will manage key client projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality delivery, cost efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.

You will lead project teams, manage budgets and schedules, oversee contracts and tenders, and ensure compliance with Australian codes and WHS. Strong client-facing skills and consultancy experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• 8–12 years of project management experience in Refurbishment or Education sectors.
• Consultancy-side experience (PQS or PMC) preferred.
• Familiarity with Australian construction regulations and AS 4000 contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle delivery of hospitality or Education projects from feasibility to handover.
• Act as primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Prepare and manage budgets, programs, risk registers and progress reports.
• Lead project teams and coordinate on-site and off-site activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget with high quality standards.
• Oversee tender processes, contractor appointments and contract administration.
• Monitor progress against KPIs and report to senior management and clients.
• Maintain knowledge of Australian building codes, compliance and WHS regulations.
